 Kate Sumners is a Page, Arizona native. Having spent most of her life nestled in the heart of some of nature's finest beauty in the iconic Southwestern US, she has been motivated to express her love and appreciation for such pristine surroundings through her art. She has spent over 11 years building her artistic skills, which encompass a wide range including watercolor painting, charcoal drawing and photography. During this time she has been locally recognized even from an early age as an accomplished artist and awarded for her excellence in art. Kate Sumners' artwork will be on display at the Powell Museum for the month of July. Join us Friday July 9th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m for refreshments and meet the artist!
